Garlic |
It's too wet to plant garlic cloves , what will I do? |
Plant the cloves up in 3 inch polystyrene cups (50 for a pound from Pound Land). Leave them indoors until they shoot then put them outside as they need a period of cold to bulb up. Plant them out in February. |

If I order seed potatoes now what will do with them? |
Leave seed potatoes outside in boxes to harden off skins. In Jan/Feb bring tem inside to chit. You will need to label the boxes otherwise you will forget what variety they are and they will all look the same in Spring! |

We had a bad time with blight this year. People who planted Sarpo types reported a very good crop. |
